The Novena to St. Carlo Acutis is a nine day prayer honoring the young saint known for his deep love of the Eucharist and his use of technology to draw others closer to Christ. St. Carlo Acutis, you were young and ordinary in so many ways, yet you were extraordinary in your love for the Eucharist. You called it your “highway to heaven.” You spent your short life using your technical skills to catalog Eucharistic miracles for the world to see, carrying souls to Christ and pointing others toward the altar.
Obtain for us a pure heart and the courage to live our faith openly in a world quick to mock it, just as you did. Watch over the young people of this generation, especially those who spend their days online, that they might use technology for good rather than for emptiness.
Lord Jesus Christ, present forever in the Most Holy Eucharist, we come before You through the intercession of St. Carlo Acutis. You call each of us, young and old, to the same altar he loved so much, and You wait for us there with the same patience and mercy You showed him. Strengthen our faith, deepen our hunger for You in the Blessed Sacrament, and help us see You in the ordinary moments of our days as he did.
