The FIAT Rosary

The FIAT ROSARY is a shorter, alternative rosary to the classical fifteen-decade or Dominican rosary. It consists of 12 mysteries (3 mysteries each from the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries) that focus on Jesus and Mary’s “Yes” (“Fiat”) to the will of the Father. This rosary has been approved by the Church [Imprimatur of + Godfried Cardinal Danneels of Brussels, Belgium, December 8, 1984].

Opening Prayer
Most Holy Spirit, help me to relive, in union with Mary, the joyful, luminous, sorrowful, and glorious mysteries of Jesus. Grant that I may be inspired by the Faith of my Baptism, nourished by the Eucharist, and renewed in the grace of Pentecost, so as to live, in word and deed, always and everywhere, as a faithful witness of Christ and of the love of His Divine Heart. Amen.

The Creed
I believe in God the Father, Maker of our world so wide
I believe in Jesus Christ, who for me was crucified.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, sent by God to be my guide.

I know that God forgives my sins and helps me to begin anew.
