Novena for Impossible Requests

The “Novena for Impossible Requests“ is a powerful novena that honors the nine months in which the Virgin Mary carried Jesus in her womb. The novena is prayed daily starting on March 25th (Feast of the Annunciation) and concluding on December 25th (Birth of Christ). Three petitions are generally requested to Mary for her intercession.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

Virgin of the Incarnation, a thousand times we greet thee, a thousand times we praise thee for thy joy when God was incarnated in thee. Because thou art so powerful a Virgin and Mother of God, grant what we ask of thee for the love of God.

Mother Teresa’s Flying Novena (Emergency Novena)

Mother Teresa’s “Flying Novena” is also known as her famous “Emergency Novena”. It involves praying the Memorare prayer a total of ten times (9 times plus 1 additional time in thanksgiving) with the intention of receiving a quick response from the Virgin Mary.
