“The Jesus Prayer” is a short, repetitive prayer is meant to be said frequently throughout the day as a form of contemplative prayer. It’s rooted in the Biblical story of the blind man who called out to Jesus for mercy (Luke 18:38) and in the parable of the Publican and the Pharisee (Luke 18:9-14).
