Saint Pius X, faithful shepherd and servant of Christ, you gave your life in humble service to the Church and to souls. Watch over me now as a father watches over his children, and guide me along the path of holiness.
You loved the Holy Eucharist above all things and drew countless souls to the altar of the Lord. Kindle in my heart that same love, that I may hunger for Christ in the Blessed Sacrament and receive Him with a pure and grateful heart.
You cared tenderly for the poor and the suffering, and bore the weight of the Church’s trials with patience and trust in God. Teach me to carry my own burdens with that same peace, and to see Christ in those who suffer around me.
