Divine Mercy Novena โ€” Day 4

On the fourth day of the Divine Mercy Novena, we pray for those who do not believe in God and those who do not yet know Him. Jesus specifically asked St. Faustina to bring these souls to His mercy, expressing His compassion for those who live in darkness. The prayer asks for light to illuminate their paths, that they might recognize God’s loving presence. We implore Divine Mercy to draw these souls into the fold of Christ’s Church, where they too may glorify the mercy of God forever.

Divine Mercy Novena โ€” Day 4

Today bring to Me THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD AND THOSE WHO DO NOT YET KNOW ME. I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy.

Most compassionate Jesus, You are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which is Your Most Compassionate Heart.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who do not believe in You, and of those who as yet do not know You, but who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Draw them to the light of the Gospel. These souls do not know what great happiness it is to love You. Grant that they, too, may extol the generosity of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Divine Mercy Novena โ€” Day 3

On the third day of the Divine Mercy Novena, we pray for all faithful Christians. Jesus asked St. Faustina to bring to Him “all devout and faithful souls” to be immersed in His mercy. We pray for those who remain steadfast in their faith, that they may continue to find strength in God’s compassion. The prayer for this day asks that these souls might forever sing the praises of God’s mercy and find shelter in His loving heart, experiencing His goodness both in this life and in eternity.

Divine Mercy Novena โ€” Day 3

Today bring to Me ALL DEVOUT AND FAITHFUL SOULS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. These souls brought Me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were that drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness.

Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of Your mercy, You impart Your graces in great abundance to each and all. Receive us into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let us escape from It. We beg this grace of You by that most wonderous love for the Heavenly Father with which Your Heart burns so fiercely.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon faithful souls, as upon the inheritance of Your Son. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, grant them Your blessing and surround them with Your constant protection. Thus may they never fail in love or lose the treasure of the holy faith, but rather, with all the hosts of Angels and Saints, may they glorify Your boundless mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Next Day โ€” Day 4

Divine Mercy Novena โ€” Day 2

On the second day of the Divine Mercy Novena, we pray especially for the souls of priests and religious. As Jesus instructed St. Faustina, we immerse these souls in His unfathomable mercy, asking Him to sustain them with His power and light. We pray that those who have dedicated their lives to serving God may be sanctified and strengthened in their vocations. Through their holy lives, may they lead others to glorify the Father of Mercy.

Divine Mercy Novena โ€” Day 2

Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS, and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave Me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them as through channels My mercy flows out upon mankind.

Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service, that they may perform worthy works of mercy; and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in heaven.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the company of chosen ones in Your vineyardโ€”upon the souls of priests and religious; and endow them with the strength of Your blessing. For the love of the Heart of Your Son in which they are enfolded, impart to them Your power and light, that they may be able to guide others in the way of salvation and with one voice sing praise to Your boundless mercy for ages without end. Amen.

Divine Mercy Novena โ€” Day 1

On the first day of the Divine Mercy Novena, we pray for all mankind, especially sinners. Jesus instructed St. Faustina to bring “all mankind, especially all sinners” to His mercy. The prayer for this day implores God’s mercy to embrace the whole world, asking that the Blood and Water which flowed from Jesus’ heart be a fount of grace for all souls. We pray especially for those most in need of God’s mercy, that they may find refuge in His compassionate heart and experience the transforming power of His forgiveness.

Divine Mercy Novena โ€” Day 1

Today bring to Me ALL MANKIND, ESPECIALLY ALL SINNERS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me.

Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us and to forgive us, do not look upon our sins but upon our trust which we place in Your infinite goodness. Receive us all into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart, and never let us escape from It. We beg this of You by Your love which unites You to the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon all mankind and especially upon poor sinners, all enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion show us Your mercy, that we may praise the omnipotence of Your mercy for ever and ever. Amen.

The Divine Mercy Chaplet

“Theย Divine Mercy Chaplet”ย is a powerful devotion given by Jesus Christ Himself to St. Faustina Kowalska in 1935. Through this prayer, Jesus revealed His immense desire to pour out His boundless mercy upon all souls who turn to Him with trust. It invites us to approach the throne of mercy with confidence, offering the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus to the Eternal Father in atonement for sins. Each prayer becomes a channel of grace, with Jesus assuring St. Faustina that through this chaplet, we can obtain everything that is compatible with His will.

This chaplet can be found in our book, Catholic Prayers & Devotions: A Treasury of Grace for the Faithful (Volume I). Available on Amazon in e-book, paperback, and hardcover.

OPENING PRAYERS:
You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.

[Pray 3 times:] O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!

[Pray 1 time:] Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

[Pray 1 time:] Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

[Pray 1 time:] I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

MAIN PRAYERS: (For each decade)
[Pray 1 time:]
Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

[Pray 10 times:] For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

CLOSING PRAYERS:
[Pray 3 times:]
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

[Optional:] Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments, we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy Itself. Amen.

Novena to the Most Powerful Hand

The “Novena to the Most Powerful Hand” is a powerful prayer of supplication that invokes Christ’s divine assistance through the symbolism of His mighty hand. This devotional prayer focuses on seeking strength, wisdom, and deliverance from suffering through complete surrender to God’s power and mercy. The prayer beautifully combines themes of desperation and hope, acknowledging human vulnerability while expressing profound trust in divine intervention.

Novena to the Most Powerful Hand

O Powerful Hand of God!
I place my sorrowful soul before Thee,
and in my despair and anguish,
beseech Thee to bring the most powerful strength
of Thy Helping Hand to come to my rescue.

Help me to keep You in view.
I place the devotion of my sorrowful heart at Thy feet,
that I may be pardoned from a destiny of suffering.

May the loving kindness of Thy Sacred Heart
and the wonders of Thy Powerful Hand help me
and give me strength and wisdom
to live in peace and happiness.

Amen.

Our Father
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Novena to the Holy Innocents

The “Novena to the Holy Innocents“ commemorates the martyred children of Bethlehem who were killed by King Herod in his attempt to eliminate the infant Jesus.

“When Herod realized that he had been deceived by the magi, he became furious. He ordered the massacre of all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had ascertained from the magi.” (Matthew 2:16)

This novena is particularly relevant for those seeking comfort in the face of child loss, violence, or feelings of helplessness, as well as those praying for the conversion of those who cause harm to others. Its themes of innocence, suffering, divine consolation, and ultimate justice make it a meaningful devotion for both personal and communal prayer.

Novena to the Holy Innocents

Holy Innocents, you died before you were old enough to know what life means, pray for all children who die young that God may gather them into His loving arms.

Holy Innocents, you were killed because one man was filled with hatred, pray for those who hate that God may touch their hearts and fill them with love.

Holy Innocents, you experienced a violent death, pray for all who are affected by violence that they may find peace and love.

Holy Innocents, your parents grieved for you with deep and lasting sorrow, pray for all parents who have lost young children that God may wrap a warm blanket of comfort around them.

Holy Innocents, those around you certainly felt helpless to prevent your deaths, pray for all who feel helpless in their circumstances that they may cling to God for courage and hope.

Holy Innocents, you who are now in Heaven, pray for all of us, that one day we may join you there to bask in God’s love forever. Amen.

Let us pray:
We remember today, O God, the slaughter of the Holy Innocents of Bethlehem by King Herod. Receive, we pray, into the arms of Your mercy all innocent victims; and by Your great might frustrate the designs of evil tyrants and establish Your rule of justice, love and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Novena to the Holy Family

Novena to the Holy Family

Video โ€” Novena to the Holy Family

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, bless me and grant me the grace of loving Holy Church as I should, above every earthly thing, and of ever showing my love by deeds.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, bless me and grant me the grace of openly professing as I should, with courage and without human respect, the faith that I received as your gift in holy Baptism.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, bless me and grant me the grace of sharing as I should in the defense and propagation of the Faith when duty calls, whether by word or by the sacrifice of my possessions and my life.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, bless me and grant me the grace of loving my family and others in mutual charity as I should, and establish us in perfect harmony of thought, will, and action, under the rule and guidance of the shepherds of the Church.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, bless me and grant me the grace of conforming my life fully as I should to the commandments of Godโ€™s law and those of His Holy Church, so as to live always in that charity which they set forth.

O Jesus, my most loving Redeemer! You came to enlighten the world with Your teaching and example, and to live the greater part of Your life with Mary and Joseph in their home at Nazareth. Thus You sanctified the family that was to be an example to all Christian families.

Graciously receive my family, which is dedicated and consecrated to You this day. Protect it, guard it, and establish it in holy fear, in peace, and in the harmony of Christian charity. By conforming ourselves to the model of Your family, may we all without exception attain to eternal happiness.

Mary, Mother of Jesus and my Mother! By your intercession make this, my humble offering, acceptable to Jesus and obtain for me His grace and blessings.

O St. Joseph, most holy guardian of Jesus and Mary! Assist me by your prayers in all my spiritual and temporal needs, so that I may be able to praise my Divine Savior, Jesus, together with Mary and you for all eternity. Amen.

Novena to the Holy Name of Jesus

The “Novena to the Holy Name of Jesus” is a nine-day devotion honoring the sacred name of our Lordโ€”first announced by the Angel Gabriel to Mary before His conception (Luke 1:31), then revealed to St. Joseph by an angel in a dream (Matthew 1:21), and formally bestowed at His circumcision (Luke 2:21).

This powerful novena emphasizes Jesus’s role as Savior, drawing on the profound significance of His name, which means “God saves.” Through meditation on Christ’s holy name, the novena invokes special graces and includes a petition to Mary, who first received this sacred name from the Angel Gabriel.

Novena to the Holy Name of Jesus

O Merciful Jesus, Who didst in Thy early infancy commence Thy office of Savior by shedding Thy Precious Blood, and assuming for us that Name which is above all names; we thank Thee for such early proofs of Thine infinite love.

We venerate Thy sacred Name, in union with the profound respect of the Angel who first announced it to the earth, and unite our affections to the sentiments of tender devotion which the adorable name of Jesus has in all ages enkindled in the hearts of Thy Saints.

Animated with a firm faith in Thy unerring word, and penetrated with confidence in Thy mercy, we now most humbly remind Thee of the promise Thou hast made, that where two or three should assemble in Thy Name, Thou Thyself wouldst be in the midst of them.-

Come, then, into the midst of us, most amiable Jesus, for it is in Thy sacred Name we are here assembled; come into our hearts, that we may be governed by Thy holy spirit; mercifully grant us, through that adorable Name, which is the joy of Heaven, the terror of Hell, the consolation of the afflicted, and the solid ground of our unlimited confidence, all the petitions we make in this novena.

Oh! blessed Mother of our Redeemer! Who didst participate so sensibly in the sufferings of thy dear Son when He shed His Sacred Blood and assumed for us the Name of Jesus, obtain for us, through that adorable Name, the favors we petition in this novena.

Beg also, that the most ardent love may imprint on our hearts that sacred Name, that it may be always in our minds and frequently on our lips; that it may be our defense and our refuge in the temptations and trials of life, and our consolation and support in the hour of death. Amen.
